(Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 25, 2006) –Ken Schempp, President of eDocument
Resources, has been nominated for Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by the Twin
West Chamber of Commerce. Every year, the Twin West Chamber of Commerce
nominates a select number of business leaders in the community that embody the
vision and spirit of entrepreneurship. Ken is one of three nominees who have
been selected this year. Selection criteria for nomination are based on
business strategies, financial success and community involvement.
Ken has led eDocument Resources since inception in 1997. Under his leadership,
eDoc has shown a record of consistent profitable growth each year and, most
recently, achieved record growth in sales from last year at
this time. Ken has been directly involved in the document industry since the
early 1980s. A graduate from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of
Management, Ken's various management roles and training bring breadth of
experience and understanding of "real world" challenges to the business
automation space.
The Twin West Chamber of Commerce will announce the winner for Entrepreneur of
the Year and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year at its 2006 Small Business
