Ken Schempp
President

As President of eDocument Resources, Ken is responsible for business strategy, innovation, and defining a vision for workflow optimization. Under his leadership, eDoc has enabled organizations in diverse industries—healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, financial services, government—to achieve greater operating efficiency and reduce costs.

Ken has led eDocument Resources since its inception, delivering consistent profitable growth and recognition from industry peers. He also secures partnerships that leverage and expand eDoc’s capacity to grow and thrive in the rapidly evolving world of content management. As a member of the select Partner Advisory Board, Ken assists Hyland as a leading solution provider in the market with product strategies.

In 2006, the Twin West Chamber of Commerce nominated Ken as Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, a distinction based upon business leaders who guide their organization with sound business strategies, financial success and community involvement. He a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School Of Management.

 

Matt Charlson
Chief Technology Officer

Matt provides strategic leadership for eDoc’s technologies, directing development and interoperability efforts over a diverse landscape of business needs and client infrastructure. His focus on integrated, value-based solutions helps eDoc take clients beyond mere automation to realize the benefits of workflow optimization.

Prior to becoming CTO, Matt served as Vice President of Professional Services, where he managed day-to-day operations of development, technical support and project management. In addition to leading the Professional Services practice, he also played an integral role in architecting eDocument Resources solutions.

Matt also serves on the Development Advisory Board for Hyland Software, a key eDoc partner. He earned his undergraduate degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato.

 

Scott Lastine
Chief Financial Officer

Scott is responsible for all accounting, finance and human resources functions at eDoc. He also leads the company’s business planning and analysis efforts, bringing discipline and structure to business processes in a high-growth environment.

Prior to eDoc, Scott worked in areas of increasing responsibility at DataCard, where he managed business support for the mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions function as well as managing the internal audit function. As a division controller he managed a $160 million organization with responsibility for all R&D, manufacturing, supply chain management, and marketing for the company.

Scott, who is also a CPA, earned his MBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.

 

Matt Bickett
Professional Services Manager

Matt Bickett recently joined the eDoc team as the Professional Services Manager. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of development, technical support and project management staff. His focus is to deliver high quality services that will make a positive impact for all of eDoc’s customers. Matt has a strong background in managing technical resources with specific experience in developing workflow solutions and document automation.

Matt works closely with Matt Charlson and the Professional Services staff to strive to improve the high quality of services that are already being delivered by eDocument Resources.

Most recently Matt has worked for Forthright Solutions, LLC for the past 5 years where he focused primarily on electronic document and workflow automations that dramatically improved office efficiencies and processing accuracies. Prior to that, Matt worked at CenterPoint Energy and 3M company where he helped craft solutions for process and workflow efficiencies.

As a customer, Matt was instrumental in setting up the Midwest regional OnBase usergroup. As a member and co-chair, Matt lead the initiative to facilitate some of the meetings and presented his company’s unique OnBase and customized .NET solutions. This effort resulted in over a 70% efficiency in the processes where the same number of staff could take on more cases. It also resulted in nearly 100% accuracy of the documents that were created and direct cost savings.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University. Matt is also certified in ITIL process improvement.
